FLAMINGOS ARE EVERYWHERE NOW!

I have been bold about my flamingo fancier status over the last few years.

Previously it was a loose secret.

You see being an Australian, I have an abundance of magnificent birdlife to choose from.

It seems somehow ungrateful even unAustralian to look for more feathered objects of devotion.

These images of my favourite OZ birds show the abundance. My heart is also breaking to see the devastation of bushfires being wrought on our beautiful Wide Brown Land

SO WHAT ABOUT THE FLAMINGOS?

I am flamingo fancier not an ornithologist so you can look up all the interesting facts about my favourite flams.

I simply love these birds and I always have!

The benefits of being a flamingo fancier?  I am sure there are many and the job offer recently was very tempting.

But the one true benefit I have found, now that I am a known flamingoeee, is that there is no shortage of gifts for us!

Below is a selection of the gifts friends and family have given me over the years.

This does not include earrings, coasters, notebooks, pens, rulers, towels and a shower curtain.

FINAL WORD FOR AN AUSTRALIAN FLAMINGO AFICIONADO?

There is a unique place in my heart for wedgies, cockies, emus, kookas, brolgas, maggies AND flams.

No competition necessary.

My heart garden just gets a bit wider every time.
