When I venture on to Instagram (yes I have an account) I see all these charming and powerful younger people who influence fashion, furniture, make-up trends, nail polish and one little fellow who makes millions by opening up toys online.
Is there a place on Insta for me as an influencer?
I have given this some passing thought.
Now I am seeking your opinions on possible sectors I could venture into.
The image that led you here tells some of the story.
Each morning, my ritual begins with making a cappuccino and a smoothie.
I turn on the overhead fan – it is still hot in Queensland until about June 03 – every year.
I open up the blinds – particularly the one next to Hickory’s tree platform. He likes to watch the world. You’ve met him before on these pages.
before on these pages.
Sit at my desk – make a space and shuffle my inspiration cards to set the tone for the day. Sometimes one, two or all three on days when I would prefer to go back to bed.
Then I return to the same desk and prepare for my 9-5 job and get started.
So here are some ideas I want to run by you.
HOME made cappuccino
I have made my choice of coffee maker Lavazza – by price and capacity to froth milk.
I don’t need another coffee machine until this one breaks down so I don’t want to buy another to test it out.
Is Lavazza listening?
Does anyone care about my choice of a coffee machine?
Choice of coffee – well I am limited in this choice because see above (Lavazza). Coffee pods are of a maddeningly unique design, aren’t they?
Taste, blend, aroma – all important to me within the Lavazza coffee gene pool. To anyone else – not so much.
Milk for cappuccino. My choice here is UHT Devondale Extra light milk.
WHY? It has superior frothing abilities! Refer to the image above.
Will anyone be influenced by my final selection of Devondale?
I have only one cat currently and one tree will do. Making any more of them with some assembly required may lead me to making bonfires in my lounge room!
Jackson Galaxy has this niche sewn up I would say.
I have 3 sets currently. I have had countless others. These remain my favourites – probably influenced by the people who introduced me to them or where I bought them.
Angel Oracle Cards – thank you Marney Perna
Heart Whisperer Cards – thank you Suzie Cheel.
Aboriginal Spirit Oracles Cards – bought at a wonderful festival at the Nungeena Aboriginal Corporation for Women’s Business.
These guide my day but I think it would be presumptuous of me to attempt to influence others to buy them on the basis of ‘these work for me, I guarantee your life will be changed when you get your own’.
The list of FAILS is quite daunting to my budding career as an influencer.
I am seeking your opinions on what would be a ‘never miss it’ read from me.
I can build my million dollar business from there – shares to all of you who contribute.
I’ll be waiting to hear from you with great anticipation. OR NOT!
