I came across this image in my hunt for interesting images on Unsplash.
I should qualify that. ALL images on Unsplash are interesting and beautiful, technically and visually.
When I am writing my blogs I have an idea in mind of how to make the words more memorable and sometimes it is very easy, for others I may end up altering the original idea but Unsplash never fails in delivering great images..
A quick and dirty analysis
I scrolled through all the images I have collected and completed a wholly subjective and invalid assessment of:
‘Why did I choose THAT one?’
As mentioned previously I was not doing any quality, exposure, light, perspective stuff. This was purely based on my emotional reaction.
The images that have stopped me were the ones that not only captured the moment in time but asked me to consider what would happen next.
The woman and the llama…….
No people in this one.
Turning to the featured image for this blog.
I am still waiting to have a heart-lifting glimpse of him continuing to swirl and face me.
My criterion for a good photograph appears to be, an emotional response of ‘what happens next?’
